Doug and family race the Maxim #24r out of Axtell Nebraska.

Doug and his wife, Robyn have 3 children.

Doug began driving Sprint Cars in 2000 and has amassed 15 career wins and was the 2004 Jayhusker Racing Association Outlaw Multi Division Champion. Doug has also ran  600 Micro-Sprint's.

Doug lists 2003 600 Micro – Sprint 2^nd Place Points Champion (Sportsman Class), Two years in a row voted “Most Improved Driver”, 2004 Outlaw Multi Division Points Champion. as his career highlights.
