Luke drives the Cranston Racing LLC owned Sprint car with a Maxim chassis, powered by a Myers Engine.   Luke joined the URSS in 2011.

Luke is from Plains, Kansas, married to his wife, Jennifer

Luke began racing in 2000, and won the 2001 A class Championship at Airport Raceway.  In 2002 he was runner up in the Rookie Class at Jetmore, in 2003 he was the NCRA Rookie of the Year and from 2003 to 2010 finished in the Top Ten in NCRA points.  In 2006 he finished in the Top Ten in ASCS Midwest points.  He has had 2 "C" Feature starts at the Knoxville Nationals.  In 2009 he had the most "A" Feature wins at 81 Speedway and in 2010 was in the top 3 for 81 Speedway points.

Luke has experience driving Micro 600 cc's, 360 and 410 Sprint cars and Full Midgets.

Luke began driving Sprint cars in 2002.

Kirk Reinert was Luke's 1st Crew Chief from 2002 - 2006.  Kirk then traveled with the World of Outlaws for 2 years.  He worked with Sammy Swindell, Guy Forbrook and Sam Hatertepe.  The Cranstons are excited to have Kirk back on their team.
